There is a time for peace and a time for randomness....
Yes, I think the title is rather clever. But then again my brain has become thivk and mushy. If you were to take my brains out then put it in a cauldron/strainer with little holes, my brain would quickly fall through and puddle at my feet. It would be left there too because my brains gone and I don't have enough to think of cleaning the mess up with a rag and ringing it back into my head. hahahhahaha. Isn't that image, interesting? At least I'll be able to do some creative writing. BUT ONWARDS TOWARDS RANDOMNESS!!!! *imagine, superman cape and classic on ground flying pose*
Radom Thing One: Sometimes, the most seemingly realaxing place is not relaxing. We have this wonderful little two person glider on our side deck. It's wonderful for reading books or just taking a nap n the shade that's always on the stuffed cushions. And if one brings a pillow out to rest your head on..hmm... the only thing needed is a tall glass of tea and something like ice cream or chocolate.
In the fall our house become covered with the red hordes of boxelder bugs (spelling?/name?). They live on our house, the climb in our rooms, they cover the trunks of our trees. Our house becomes rather invaded and I've learned to sleep with my mouth closed during this time. We do have our termination plans, honed from years of experience. In our shed shits a bright green pumper that signals death to the little crawlers. Its filled wit a solution of soapy water and works much better then any professional solution so it's cheap and I'll admit, rather fun to go around killing the masses of black and red stripes. Plan B though, might get us in trouble with PETA. The founder, benefactor, and only member of this elitle termination force is the one, the only, -Megan! Yes, my sister will go about and pick up these little creatures, claim them as pets, and store them in a container. They used to be stored in her jewerly box, forgotten until one of us poor sisters had to go and clean it out. YUCK!! Such bad memories...
Anyway, these two paragraphs are very closely related. Paragraph two effectivly ruins paragraph one. Since this is the time before the the red armies appear, they ones here already are "recruiting" as many fellow soldiers as they can. Unfortunetly, when I go to relax on my swing, the generals are all there recruting. It's a rather disturing sight, and it becomes worse when they begin to rain down around you when your trying to read a wonderful novel. One day as I was having a slighlty different version of iced tea (cold rootbeer) I found something unpleasant in the bottom of my cup when I finished. A dead boxelder bug!!!!! I feel so disgusted just remembering. Ugh...
Random Thing Two: wasn't my first readom thing rather long? :)
Random Thing Three: TH eversion I'm going to get of Les Miserables is 1463 pages long. Definetly not the abrigded version my teacher suggested...
Random Thing Four: I've figured out a little humerous drawing of my life at the moment. A little hermit hut being destroyed, a telephone line being strung to my side, my stick figure crying in a little corner....
Random Thing Five: I actually think I have too many books on y plate right now. There's an autiobiography by charles Finney, a biography of George Muller, To His Uptmost Highest, Mere Christianity, and Do hard Things (a re-read) in my stack. Then is hte stack of mind streching vocabulary books like The Mystery of Edwin Drood by charles Dickens, Toilers of the Sea by Hugo Victor, and The Adventures and memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, which is so thick they even have abuilt in bookmark! And by that is my bag full of childish novels that are rather stupid and not brain strechting, simply funny. The last pile is a rather misfit stack including Mismatch, The Princess (finished), and Peircing the Darkness.
Random Thing Six: My big toe got run over when I was composing this post. *whimper*
Random Thing Seven: I went shopping for back to school today at the mall. We spent to much time looking at clothes at JCPenny's and Deb's (I never really wanted to enter Deb's before because of the name even though it's really bright looking and not anythig like hot Topic and whatever store is next to it.
Random Thing Eight: I've talked on the phone for almost 45 minutes with someone who is not family. *wild applause* *my head nodding conceitedly* I know I know. *now bowing* Thank you, thank you.
Random Thing Nine: School starts back up on the 25th. *a dark aura appears. It's very dark and heavy* And registration is on the 13th, I think. You get your picture taken at this time to. I'll probaly forget and wear something rather horrible. Also, do you think I should take this AP World history course? I think it'd be nice to learn a more in depth/more information about history and eras and such, but the teacher said you get an hour of homeowrk everynight. I don't know how much other stuff I'll have since I took some other hard, stupid, and meaningless classes and while I don't have a life, I'd rather not have my life turn into something of a sludge through homework.
Random Thing Ten: I'm going to start trying to write a thousand words a day. I've tried several times and have only gotten to 150 or 200 words before I become discouraged and quit. Right now this entire post is 952 including these words. Maybe I'll just have to start writing really long posts.
Random Thing Eleven: I've gone thorugh another summer basically just reading whatever the library got in. It's rather disappointing
Random Thing Twelve: I got the new Enola Holmes book!! Yay!
Random Thing Thirteen: I have several projects I need to complete.
1. sand and perhaps paint a plastered sculpture I did.
2. start honing my unused skills of drwing so I don't lag behind when I start Advanced 2-D.
Random Thing Fourteen: I'm trying to get a thousand words here. I'll check after this sentence.
Random Thing Fifthteen: I did!!! From that last sentence on 14 I had 1,042 words! hooray!!!!!
....and signing off. I apologize for boring you...
