The Hallways of Dread aka School!!!!!
Oh no it has arrived! The first week of high school. And it has know ended with the following results; fried nerves, late nights, and discovery of bad sense of direction. So to start of with I'll show you my schedule. Or this one at least.
- First Period: Hon Global Science
- Second Period: 2D Art (all year with the other half being 3D art. Yay!)
- Third Period: Geometry
- Fourth Period: Hon English
- Fifth Period: German I
- Sixth Period: AP Human Geography
- Seventh Period: Gym on whatever days then study hall on the others of that
So, first period I have Mr. Raymond. He's very into the earth. Save the earth, don't pollute, let's recycle around the school. The bug thing is that he wants his students to go and sell T-shirts or stuff to by land in Madagascar. everything in the catalog is 10 dollars or more. Also, it seems he seems to definitely be an evolutionist. Otherwise, it's good.
Second period I have art. We just finished a practice self-portrait. i tried shading my face to look loke I new what I was doing but... Let's just say I won't be photo-copying it onto this blog. The teacher's really nice, but whenever I talk about her I keep calling her Mrs. Hillbilly when her name is Mrs. Hilby. Hopefully, I never accidentaly call that to her face.
Third hours okay too even though it involves math. Bad part is no one I know is in there. (sophomore class with myself as freshman, yeah) The teacher's cool too. His name is Mr. Hanke.
Then for fouth hour I have Mrs. Hunt. She's very cool and has interesting ways of dealing with things. One day a kid got called on and he used one of those not so good words but not swear words words? She answered by saying no, that wasn't his name, it was Austin. Let's say I doubt that he'll be usng such words when he's called on again.
After that there's German. Yay! And how's your's going Hanna? Brought my book home just to practice my numbers. We learned different phrases. (Can't say I'll be able to remember them, but then the books here...) The teacher, Mrs. Mittlesteadt (she let's us call her Mrs. M, thankfully) let us pick out Geman names for ourselves. At first I was going to go with Petra (easy on the tongue) but then I chose Ulrike. (spelling not sure about) But I do know that it sounds like Eureaka only instead in the Eu it sounds more like your just say L there. Also, she can become very easily sidetacked, and she's very hyper about German.
Then there's that horrible AP class. For those of you who have no idea what AP is it's a college course. Yikes! We took our first quiz today, and I got 10 out of 17. That's an F, but it's almost an D-. Anyway, and thankfully, he said he figured we'd score around that because we just came from a slower paced school to a college course and that that's a pretty big jump. But now I know never to forget to study for those quizes. And tey not to fall asleep while reading the text!
Then I go to study hall or gym. Nothing much there. No stories of amazing falls, unflexiblness, or just pure walking into doorways. Ugh. I was kinda hoping for a few myself. Almost feel tearfull.
So, now that I've given a brief summary of the classes here's what doesn't fit. I keep getting lost when I go to my AP class. I wonder around tryin to remember which way I turn and which stairs to use. No matter how much I try I always seem to go and get myself turned int the wrong dirrection. I firgured out that I'm not people smart either. The Eng teacher had us do a multiple intelligence quiz and see what we got. I got something in every category, besides for the people smart one. It was just empty sitting there all by itself. I just found that funny. Oh well. Anything else...Nope.
So, tonight I figure (and hope) that I can watch the rest of the Sue's. I have two or three to go. It makes me very sad. To know. That it'll soon all be over for Sue. *sobs* *sobs uncontolably* and leaves the room to get tissues. Return afte a bit looking a bit red eyed then before, but otherwise okay. We hope. I'm better know. Oh, and gotta say, love DO HARD THINGS. Very inspirational. Sorry, but I've blogged, though delayed, and feel like kicking off my awsome Friday.

you mean Do Hard Things the book? It's so good, isn't it? I got mine in April, so I think I'm going to read through it again soon. I just downloaded the study guide today!
It was a sad day when I watched the last Sue. But it is pretty much the best one out of all fifty-two or whatever it is, so you have something to look forward to! So, so good. :)
How's school going this week?
I don't know how you have all this time to watch Sue.
I've been doing it all summer and haven't watched half!
I love your German name!
